So back in the day, the first time I took physics, my dad & I got into an argument about a bullet being dropped & a bullet being shot both hitting the ground at the same time ( basically vertical and horizontal motion). The Economy is Over Hyped, Again

I haven't complained about the media's/goobernmint's overly rosy portrayal of the economy since ~2008. Somewhere around Leyhman Brothers, I thought they got it. Gang, we're back to an under reported story of housing depreciation, unemployment, bank instability, and inflation. Middle American finances are far worse than the statistics say; we're on the verge of another banking crisis, and inflation is like 10 times higher than reported. What to do? I dunno.

My calls:

1.5 years away from another round of too big to fail collapses at Wells Fargo, Citibank, Bank of America, JP Morgan.

Oil exceeds the 2008 price maximum (say in 2012), then falls to a level near the 2009 minimum (say, in 2014).

U-6 Unemployment reaches the level of the Great Depression (~30%, currently 22%) while u-3 Unemployment goes back over 10%

In total, 1 in 2 American mortgages from 2000 to 2009 will be defaulted upon. I don't know what it is, currently but the Option ARM default rates are already there.

Things I would love to do again if I had the time

Play Final Fantasy on the NES -- I have an emulator copy, but mainly, where do you find time to kill forest goblins ???
I would also like to play Metal Gear, Castelvania II, SuperMario 3 and Ninja Gaiden.
When I had the Playstation II, I should have spent the money & gotten Resident Evil II , Syphon Filter & FF VII -- oh well.
