Good Lord.

The Human Centipede
(2010)

Short version:
Both police officers are shot by Dr. Heiter, but the officer kills Dr. Heiter before dying. Katsuro kills himself, and Jenny dies from her infection. Lindsay, the middle part of the human centipede, is stuck, because both the front and the rear of the "centipede" are dead. The screen cuts to black before revealing what happens to Lindsay.

Long version:
Two young American girls, Lindsay and Jenny, are on a trip through all of Europe. They are approached by a man who invites them to a party in Germany. They decide to go, but like typical horror movies, they get lost and end up with a flat tire in the middle of the forest, no cell phone signal, and it's raining. They walk through the forest, instead of following the road, for an hour, and find the house of Dr. Heiter.

Dr. Heiter invite both the women into his house. After a short time, he offers them a drink that is laced with the date rape drug, which knocks them both out. They awake the next day, strapped to hospital beds, along with Katsuro. He begins to explain to the three what he will do to them, offering up drawn pictures to illustrate his point - he literally plans to simply cut off the ligaments from their knees so they are unable to stand, then sew Lindsay's lips to Katsuro's anus, then Jenny's lips to Lindsay's anus, thus forming a human centipede.

Dr. Heiter attempts to, and succeeds in, creating the human centipede. He begins to try and train them like a dog, trying to teach the trio to fetch newspapers and eat from a dog bowl. Since Katsuro is the head of the centipede, he is basically in control of everything they do, and so he is extremely disobedient, not following any orders given. Several times, Dr. Heiter brutally whips the trio for disobedience.

After several scenes replaying the basic training theme above, Dr. Heiter brings the human centipede in for a check up. Katsuro and Lindsay are both in good health, but Jenny's surgical wounds are infected, and Dr. Heiter decides that she must be removed from the centipede, killed, and replaced. Before he is able to, though, the police knock on his door. He returns upstairs to greet the officers. They ask to visit his cellar, but he refuses to allow them. He tries to drug them both, but neither will fall for it, and threaten to return with a warrant.

While Dr. Heiter is upstairs, the human centipede attempts to escape. Katsuro arms himself with a surgical scalpel. The trio hide in the hallway. When Dr. Heiter comes back downstairs, Katsuro attacks. He stabs Dr. Heiter in the foot, twists the blade, then jabs it into his shin. When Dr. Heiter falls over, Katsuro bites a part of his neck off. The human centipede attempts to escape and crawls into a room and attempts to smash the glass window. It fails, however, as the glass is hardened, but several shards fall off. Dr. Heiter follows the human centipede and corners them in the room. Katsuro, feeling like he is a failure with his life, kills himself with the glass shard, trapping Lindsay and Jenny, who are still sewn to him.

The police return with a warrant, as threatened. They kick in the door while Dr. Heiter limps away, locking what is left of the human centipede in the room. Dr. Heiter manages to stab one police officer in the neck, steal his gun, and shoot the other one. Though the officer is dying, he fires off one shot and hits Dr. Heiter directly in the head, killing him, before he dies himself.

In the room, Jenny slowly dies from her infection. With Lindsay the only living person inside the house, she is unable to do anything, since both the other parts of the centipede are dead. The screen cuts to black before it is revealed what happens to Lindsay.

Not going to inundate the blog with Dio

This looks F-ing incredible

My father is insane; ??th round. ding.

Durham County Sheriff dropped off a summons to my house today. My father is taking me to small claims court to recover the pistols that belong to my brother.

Backstory: My dad's car was parked in my back yard for several weeks with several firearms and munitions stored inside. As my neighbor's house was vandalized by teens skipping school two years ago, I decided to remove the guns and store them at a particular RA's house.

In the meantime, my father's warped view of the world, that most of us would term INSANITY, has gotten worse, figuratively and literally. He has almost no vision in his right eye. So as I prepare to oppose the transfer of my brothers guns from me to my father. (My brother and I attempted a transfer the other month, but mistimed his return to OK.)

He's called me repeatedly, claiming that he needs his guns so he can roll with his boys in case the call comes in. Which leads me to script a string of Crazy Father stories. Telling them to an audience will help me organize them in my head if I get the chance to petition the court to NOT turn over the weapons to a half blind crazy man.

Enjoy, add or ignore as your time allows.

This is ridiculous

Dubai, up close and personal!

startin' out life dog free.

I had my last Greyhound, Moly (molybdenum) take off for that couch in the sky. Haven't told Caleb yet, I expect he'll hardly notice as Moly wasn't really ever a 'family' dog. More like a roommate that used the bath room outside and stayed in his own space, physical and emotional.

He was a pretty good dog when he was younger, he really liked greyhound playgroup before he got really retired.

He was suffering from some nerve degenerative condition, losing control and tone of his rear hips/legs. At one point he was stopping for a rest during meals. VERY unusual.

So pour a little out for my quadlegged homey. He's sleeping off a brisk 3 minute walk somewhere.

Not sure if I did my "Five Word Review of 'The Deliverance' "

This movie defines "TOO SOON!"

Found this humourous & amusing.

Trolli Road Kill Gummies

In February 2005, following complaints by the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Kraft Foods decided to stop production of Trolli Road Kill
Gummies. The society complained that the products, shaped as partly
flattened squirrels, chickens and snakes, would give children an
incorrect message on the proper treatment of animals.

WOW. Is this even real ????
