Sort of like in Animal House where Bluto spills mustard on himself ... if the RearAdmir0l were a coke head and mustard was shame.

Funny shit.
A would-be suicide bomber accidentally blew himself up on Thursday, killing six other militants as he was bidding them farewell to leave for his intended target, the Interior Ministry said.
"The terrorist was on his way to his destination and saying good-bye to his associates and then his suicide vest exploded," a statement from the ministry said.

Ran a little late this morning
I had thrown my jeans in the dryer last night, but apparently not for a sufficient amount of time.
Managed to get the legs dried out by the time I got to work by having the heater jacked all the way up.
Managed to get the crotch-i-tal zone dried by mid morning just by rubbing myself (thats how I roll).
Now, my waistband is just COLD and wet.

trouble accessing hotmail?
Net guys and otherwise much more savvy than me folks:
I mainly use hotmail and I can't seem to get it to open on my pc. I get an oops this link appears broken after about two minutes of opening yadayadayada. . .
Is there something on my pc to address or is their a failure at the other end. This has been a problem since yesterday. No other site seems to time-out on me. .

X-Terra on Craiglist
OK, let me start off by saying this Xterra is only available for purchase by the manliest of men (or women) . My friend, if it was possible for a vehicle to sprout chest hair and a five o'clock shadow, this Nissan would look like Tom Selleck . It is just that manly .
It was never intended to drive to the mall so you can pick up that adorable shirt at Abercrombie & Fitch that you had your eye on . It wasn't meant to transport you to yoga class or Linens & Things . No, that's what your Prius is for . If that's the kind of car you're looking for, then just do us all a favor and stop reading right now . I mean it . Just stop .
This car was engineered by 3rd degree ninja super-warriors in the highest mountains of Japan to serve the needs of the man that cheats death on a daily basis . They didn't even consider superfluous nancy boy amenities like navigation systems (real men don't get lost), heated leather seats (a real man doesn't let anything warm his butt), or On Star (real men don't even know what On Star is) .
No, this brute comes with the things us testosterone-fueled super action junkies need . It has a 265 HP engine to outrun the cops . It's got special blood/gore resistant upholstery . It even has a first-aid kit in the back . You know what the first aid kit has in it? A pint of whiskey, a stitch-your-own-wound kit and a hunk of leather to bite down on when you're operating on yourself . The Xterra also has an automatic transmission so if you're being chased by Libyan terrorists, you'll still be able to shoot your machine gun out the window and drive at the same time . It's saved my bacon more than once .
It has room for you and the four hotties you picked up on the way to the gym to blast your pecs and hammer your glutes . There's a tow hitch to pull your 50 caliber anti-Taliban, self cooling machine gun . I also just put in a new windshield to replace the one that got shot out by The Man .
My price on this bad boy is an incredibly low $12,900, but I'll entertain reasonable offers . And by reasonable, I mean don't walk up and tell me you'll give me $5,000 for it . That's liable to earn you a Burmese-roundhouse-sphincter-kick with a follow up three fingered eye-jab . Would it hurt? Hell yeah . Let's just say you won't be the prettiest guy at the Coldplay concert anymore .
There's only 69,000 miles on this four-wheeled hellcat from Planet Kickass . Trust me, it will outlive you and the offspring that will carry your name . It will live on as a monument to your machismo .
Now, go look in the mirror and tell me what you see . If it's a rugged, no holds barred, super brute he-man macho Chuck Norris stunt double, then contact me . I might be out hang-gliding or BASE jumping or just chilling with my ladies, but I'll get back to you . And when I do, we'll talk about a price over a nice glass of Schmidt while we listen to Johnny Cash .
To sweeten the deal a little, I'm throwing in this pair of MC Hammer pants for the man with rippling quads that can't fit into regular pants . Yeah, you heard me . FREE MC Hammer pants .

For the science people
I am tutoring a kid at a local high school and his teacher told the kids that there are the s,p,d,f sublevels which is what is normally taught. Then he went into the g,h,i, and possible j sublevels. Setting aside the fact that this is an academic (not honors) class and that this would be WAY beyond the grasp of these kids, have any of you ever heard of this? I have seen worksheets that mention the possiblity of a g sublevel only as a concept question like "judging by the trend in the s,p,d,f sublevels how many orbitals would you suspect a g sublevel to contain?"
Also the only way I 'see' these extra sublevels existing would be if several (many as in like most) of the electrons were in an excited state and if that is the case why is it that they are not just moving into the hypothetical 8th energy level? When element 119 is finally created for the millionth of a second it will end all this bullshit about whether there is an 8th sublevel once and for all.
If you believe what wikipedia tells you then here is your proof

Cheyenne, Wyo. -- Concern that the Obama administration could impose a new ban on some semiautomatic weapons is driving worried gun owners to stockpile ammunition and cartridge reloading components at such a rate that manufacturers can't meet demand. Attorney General Eric Holder last month suggested that the Obama Administration favors reinstituting a U.S. ban on the sale of assault weapons.

Knocked the F out.
Crashed at about 9:30 last night.
We got COMPLETELY pwnt @ trivia last night - I think we finished either last or next to last out of 6-8 teams. Horrible. If only we knew which 16 elements were represented by single letters!!!
Anyway -- I THINK the plan is to go to the Manhole @ 5:30 for a quick workout this afternoon. If anyone else shows up, I need to be firm that we've got to fuck that mule, and not dick around, so that I wont miss pre-trivia bible study.
Let's roll!!!

GOOD TIMES @ WORK !!!
IT Ten (or eight) Commandments
The first IT Commandment is: you do not talk about Team IT.
The second IT Commandment is: you DO NOT talk about Team IT!
Third IT Commandment: if a user yells "stop!", goes limp, or taps out, the ticket is closed.
Fourth rule: only two Team IT members to a ticket.
Fifth rule: one ticket at a time, fellas.
Sixth rule: the tickets are bare knuckle. No Google, no support.microsoft.com, no drivers.com.
Seventh rule: tickets stay open as long as they have to.
And the eighth and final rule: if anyone @ Novonordisk asks for your shirt, you have to fight.

Something I've been mulling over.
As we all know, I'm great with ideas, weak on follow through.
My latest, after reading the OT in koine greek fell through, is to just read the Bible, maybe a handfull of verses per evening.
I KNOW I've read the Pentatuch, Amos & most of Paul's letters.
Just by going to church, I probably know M, M, L & J by heart.
But that still leaves a LOT of material.
MAYBE we could do a little "bible study" before trivia, knock out a couple verses per week ???

Should be doing some gardening this afternoon before heading to HEP headquarters.

Been a rough two weeks, not sleeping AND trying to integrate a new person of interest into my life, then working and drinking all weekend. Finally got a full nights sleep last night from about 8-ish on.
Then we're gonna fuck this mule up come Friday & H.E.P.'s bachelor party weekend.

I wish there was a slobbering emoticon I could put into a title
'Ten' is being released for Rock Band on the 24th.
For those of you who were in elementary school in 1991, 'Ten' may be one of the greatest fucking rock albums ever released. It, along with 'Nevermind', signaled the end of boy band, synth oriented, shitty music on the radio (at least for a little while). The Seattle Scene literally caused stations to rise and fall based on the fact that modern rock music came out of nowhere to snatch listenership from Classic Rock stations and tape players.
It was a sonic blast that washed over everyone that heard its call, and let me tell you bitches, it was good.
What precipitated this walk down musical memory lane (aside from the release of WWWGHEHEHEBBQ AWESOME on RB) is that PJ just released an uber-edition of the album this week and I was checking out the remixed tracks that are part of the collection (hell, it's caused me to nearly buy a 'Stickman' t-shirt at least three times tonight). What finally dawned on me is that the album holds up just as well now as when it was released way back when.
To say that this album had a big influence on my college years is a mild understatement. I don't know how many of the rest of you have a moment where you're listening to an album and you realize 'yeah, this is how things should be' (Dee, you and Dylan excepted), but this album was that moment for me.
In any event, let's hear it...what are the albums that make you think 'this is it'. What are those musical moments in your life where you realize, 'this album is an important moment in my life and no matter what else happens, when I hear tracks from it, I know my shit is OK' (by the way, I'm not talking about a goddamn song, since I don't give a flying asshole about the time you felt up Tatiana while listening to 'Islands in the Stream').
I know that this is going to end up as a conversation between me, Sweet D, and T-bone (as most musical discussion do), but anyone else feel free to chime in.

Any good tunes you guys can suggest?
I am making the playlist for the wedding reception. There have been probably 100 songs in the past 6 months that both of us have said that we wanted played at our wedding but right now I am drawing a blank.
So far I have:
Marving Gaye - sexual healing
Akinyele - put it in your mouth
that's enough right?

Set back at the Manhole
Almost had the power tower assembled today and I accidentally stripped the bolt that hold one of the dip handles on. I did not realize this until I went to try out the dip part to see if it would hold and the bar just slid out. FUCK!
Going to get bolt tomorrow to see if this can be corrected easily. If not I am not sure how I should fix this.

LaLa Very Bored
I am sad and keep thinking about 25 cent wings on Monday. Who's coming with me this Monday? There is no trivia just 25 cent wings and $2 PBR's
Agree with the HEP on the workout.
Working out by myself is not quite as enjoyable. I don't usually post my workout, but here goes. Numbers to the left indicate items I did in tandem. Also once I started working out I noticed my ribcage was very sore and weak from the pullovers.
1 - Calves: 3x15 @ 90
2 - Crossovers: 3x10 @80
3 - Dips 3x10 @ BW0, BW+60, BW+80
3 - Pullups 3x10@ BW+25, BW+10, BW0 (this was stupid)
0 - Bench: 10,8,6,4,2,4,6,8,10 @ 135,225,245,265,285 then back down.
1 - Wide Rows: 3x10 @ 80,90,100
4 - Close Grip Rows: 3x10 @80,90,100
5 - Tricep Push Downs: 3x10 @ 70,90,110
6 - Dumbell Curls (Each Hand): 3x10 @ 40,35,30
5 - Straight Bar Curls: 3x10 @50,60,70
7 - Leg Extension: 3x10 @ 90,110,130
4 - Leg Curls: 3x10 @ 70,90,110
6 - Back Raises: 3x10 @ 0,10,25
8 - Leg Raises: 3x10
2 - Decline Situps: 3x15
7 - Dumbell Military (Each Hand-Arnolds): 3x10 @ 50
8 - Front and Side Shoulder Raises 3x7+7 @ 15
Ran 5K on treadmill
Estimated Duration for Workout = 80-90 minutes
Once again I'm very excited we are all working out and getting in shape. While not as fun as the garage you get done in a lot less time. Meanwhile it's very rare I think I over do it. This time I did.

No Beer, No Friends = Boring Workout
Bench (Goofy pyramid)
135 X 12
155 X 12
185 X 10
205 X 10 (feeling much lighter)
185 X 10
155 X 15
155 X 12
135 X 15
135 X 12
135 X 10
135 X 9 (almost dropped in on my head when I failed)
Shoulder flys
4 sets of 20lbs X 10
Dumbell inclines
3 sets of 45lbs X 10 (rotating every other one)
Pull overs(?)
3 sets of 80lbs X 10
1 set of 80lbs X 9
dumbell press
3 sets 45lbs X 10
Shoulders killing me triceps a little sore no chest pain. I think I get a sore chest from lifting the 225 which i don't feel comfortable doing without a spot. finished the whole thing off with a protein shake. 27ish grams of protein.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
One Day Later
-Shoulders ok
-Triceps en fuego!!
I am going to try to take it easy on the the Triceps and hope they heal by the time I move in with my new roomy this weekend. Perhaps all this tricep stuff will make a difference on dips. It will be good to change things up this weekend.

GREAT Suggestion...
"Why invest in your 401K when you could invest in a brand new Harley Davidson motor cycle?"
~quote from Harley commercial on 101.1FM
Somebody just cashed out their retirement savings to buy a bike. Then again, the Harley might hold it's value better than your 401K...

Not sure if you watch Burn Notice
But they always have helpful tidbits of information. Such as:
If you are in a firefight during a car chase, unless you have something high caliber you won't be able to penetrate the firewall or the radiator. So you have a few options. Shooting at the windshield which is only useful if the car chasing you isn't BalckOps or ricocheting bullets off the ground through the undercarriage, which is one of the least reinforced parts of the car. For sheer panic there is nothing that beats bullets coming up through the floor boards.
Good to know.

This looks pretty awesome
One of my students suggested the I go with Wheybolic 60. It has 60 grams of protein per serving. That is about 35 grams more than a few others that I have been looking at.

Stayed up all day, hopefully worn out enough to sleep.
Managed to get my clothes folded/hung & put away, which is a gigantic accomplishment in and of itself.
Still a wee bit sore from the Manhole workout, so I laid off the exercising today
Moms is sending up 40 POUNDS of bulbs, and there are apparently 1000, yes 10^3, daffodils yet to be dug up, so expect some plants to be thrown your ways.

I choose "ME" today.
Why in the hell are our weekends so busy???
Anyway, I
#1 had insomnia last night, so I said "Fuck It"
#2 needed to defeat the Evil_e clothes pile and get laundry folded
#3 have a bunch of little chores that just weren't getting done
All in all, quite an effective morning.

Manhole temporarily closed
next weekend we are closed out guys. We should be up and running again the weekend after. That gives me two weeks to find a pull up dip rack.
Twice daily
in order, those are alcohol wipes, saline, her antibiotic, more saline, and then to wind things up, hepron.
All in all takes around 35-45 minutes. Crazy stuff.

Wow. BSG is about fucking awesome.
One thing I really like is books/movies where bad things happen to good people.
Plans for the next couple weeks/weekends
Ok, so HEP & I are working @ the "Women's Empowerment" thingy next weekend -- it ALL day. Also, the QoC is having her baccalaureate and is kicking HEP out, so he's staying with me.
I assume we're going to be very drunk & play a lot of video games.
Weekend of the 21st, AJ Dynamite is coming up for HEP's bachelor party. Start lining up baby sitters & doing nice things for spouses now. I mentioned doing the 300 that weekend, plus we have ideas for golf, watching the NCAA and other sundry affairs. I'm looking forward to Sweet Dee getting at least ONE $104 lap dance.
Apparently we have a wedding coming up at some point in the near future, so get your pimp suits pressed boys, cause we're gonna be mackin'.
Sweet Dee, the Mapleleaf & I noticed @ Woody's that they are having a Jimmy Buffet tour package -- April 24, $95 for ticket, bus ride, buffet & all you can drink beer & tequila.
C-Monster has birthday #3 coming up -- maybe shoot for a Bulls' game ?
NFL draft is sometime in late April.
After that, next thing I see on tap is the Cinco de Ocho shindig, which looks to be either on May 2 or 9. Maybe both. We'll see.
Then the pool opens -- keep your Thursday nights free, and anytime anyone wants to come over on a weekend, be my guest, be my guest, put my service to the test.
I know at some point grillin' season starts up, so we can do a Not-luck at some point.
Looking at a POSSIBLE Vegas trip mid to late June, depending on when Baby-Stein decides to join us. Maybe one weekend when NBA & NFL playoffs are going on.
That gets us to July when I think we have 2 new editions arriving, at which point the G.P. and 'Uar disappear.
Did I miss anything ???

Tonights shenanigans
Pre dinner:
30 dips, 30 pull ups, 30 dead lifts, 9 ab rollers from knees.
Post dinner:
20 Clean & Press of "The bitch" each arm, 20 ish more pull ups ( a bit tipsy, cant count).
Now that I've found a good use for my back & shoulders, I assume I'll keep up this lifting thing.
***SAN***
Looks as if I'm not done yet -- 5&5 curls and some wrist curls.

Really?
After living with the wife and then sitting with her for multiple hours, this is what they had me put on yesterday...

I cannot explain my level of anger at this instant.
So, for those that have known me for any amount of time, they know that I'm generally the fuck-ee in any kind of situation that goes awry. So you can imagine my confusion during this long drawn out "Equitable Distribution" that the Euphamism believes that I am trying to fuck HER over.
I am literally stunned by the implications.
So what it appears to come down to is my intransigence to believe that the money her grandmother gave to each couple at the same time was not a gift to the couples. Her sisters & brothers in law all blew it on travel and cars and whatnot. I invested it.
Now, my offer was to sell the house, split the difference and be done.
She wants me to give her the amount of her grandmothers money, plus the downpayment that I made using money I built up by saving $25 a week and buying stock in DRIPS.
Needless to say, I'm going to the mats at this point. I've got a bunch of credit cards and my lawyer ... takes credit. I figure the break even point for me is basically bankruptcy.
All I can say is, Bless Obama when he wipes the slate clean!!!

Funny from yesterday
So since the time I left the activities yesterday I've been busy, I want to post a funny occurrence that no one might have been aware of.
As we were all leaving I was saying goodbye to HEP with the requisite peace sign see you late gesture. However, after all the lifting we did, my forearms were sore and cramping up and instead of flashing two finger only one flashed up (guess which one). Only I didn't realize this until I looked up and saw a gesture conflicting with my original intent.
I found this funny, but would like to apologize to HEP, if he actually saw it.
